Virtual Telemedicine is a simulation based serious game with a scenario editor to enable fast deployment of new targeted educational material. It has been designed and developed with many innovations for the field of emergency serious games in cardiology. It simulates the role of a doctor who is utilizing a telemedicine platform to diagnose and treat a patient. All data and scenarios are realistic, and the game can be expanded with multiple new scenarios. In this version you can download from the link below there are five scenarios that demonstrate some of the key functions of the game as well as a working scenario of a patient going into cardiac arrest, that is named: “dyspnea and chest discomfort”.


Its evaluation was conducted with over 100 medical experts in a continuing education structured environment with very promising results. This project was widely published, with the most recent publication in the Journal Of Medical Internet Research with impact factor 4.8.
